Summer Concert

On this 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, in our Summer Concert we will be singing excerpts from Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai and other music of Jane Austens’s time at Alton Methodist Church on Saturday 28th June at 7pm. The concert is in aid of Broadlands (Riding for the Disabled)

Alton Choral Society rehearsals

Weekly at 7.45pm Wednesday in Alton Salvation Army Hall GU34 1HN (on the corner across the road from the Market Square)

New singers of all voices and ages are always welcome.

We sing four-part harmony from sheet music. Very few, if any, are ‘sight-readers’ and Wendy takes learning new material one step at a time.

No auditions.

Care is taken to ensure that we maintain social distancing during rehearsal with good ventilation in the hall.
